Cypress Lawn Heritage Foundation

Kenneth E. Varner, Foundation President, is also President and Chief Executive Officer of Cypress Lawn Cemetery Association formed in 1892. He is also Chairman of the Board of Cypress Funeral Services, Inc. He was Past President of the Interment Association of California (IAC), the California State Cemetery Association, and is currently on the Association's Board of Directors. He is also a past Board Member of the International Cemetery and Funeral Association formerly known as the American Cemetery Association. Mr. Varner has a strong leadership background in all phases of cemetery operations. He brings to the Board a unique perspective in the cemetery industry.

Kent L. Seavey, Secretary, is a 35-year historic preservation professional who brings to the Foundation a depth of knowledge in California history, art, and architecture having served as a former curator of the California Historical Society and first historical coordinator of the County of Monterey.
